Cedarwood Festival welcomes a new trustee

19th February, 2021

We are excited to announce Karen Todd, Director of Communications at Moorlands College, has joined the Cedarwood Festival Board as a trustee, marking exciting expansion of the team for 2021. Karen is married with three daughters and one son-in-law, loves food and travel, and is a huge fan of Parkrun.

As Director of Communications at Moorlands College, she is part of their Executive Leadership team. Karen is passionate about seeing people equipped to be all God created them to be. Prior to this role, she worked full time as Managing Director of Simplicate, a concept development digital agency based in Dorset.

Through her previous work, she helped create courses, resources, books and businesses and consulted on national projects.  Her work has also encompassed different sectors including mental health, substance misuse, Early Years and family support, with a combination of secular and Christian clients. She is also an author and speaker on many of the above subjects.

David Stretton-Downes, Founder of Cedarwood Festival said,

‘’We are delighted to welcome Karen to the board. Her experience and passion for the Cedarwood Festival community and vision, to see the Church in the North of England united as one, is key and we look forward to all she will bring to the team.

Karen is a trustee for three other charities, and we are excited for her contribution to a committed and gifted team of trustees. The other Board members of Cedarwood Festival are listed below.
