Cedarwood Festival | Cedarwood Festival join Evangelical Alliance

Cedarwood Festival confirmed as Evangelical Alliance members

3rd February, 2021

We are excited to have received confirmation that Cedarwood Festival are now members of Evangelical Alliance.

The Evangelical Alliance has been representing evangelical unity in the UK since 1846 and is committed to making Jesus known. Although we are much younger, we have that same commitment and passion and are excited to join with individuals, churches and other organisations in this great mission.

Cedarwood Festival is an independent event and registered Charity, with a vision to unite the Church in the north of the UK, taking place in County Durham, in the north of England. Backed by many of the major denominations, the weekend festival aims to gather all generations and expressions, to worship in unity, with biblical teaching, practical workshops, after hours activities for all ages, 24-7 prayer and worship and a full children’s and youth programme. All people, all ages, all welcome.

Gavin Calver, CEO of The Evangelical Alliance has supported Cedarwood Festival since the idea was first launched saying.

“This exciting new gathering has the potential to greatly equip Christians in the north and see many come to faith as well. I wish it all the very best.”

We look forward to the future as members of The Evangelical Alliance. For further details about what they do visit eauk.org.
