Cedarwood Festival is an independent event and registered Charity, with a vision to unite the Church in worship and mission taking place in County Durham, in the north of England. Backed by many of the major denominations, the weekend festival aims to gather all generations and expressions, to worship in unity, with biblical teaching, practical workshops, after hours activities for all ages, 24-7 prayer and worship and a full children’s and youth programme.
All people, all ages, all welcome.”
Story
The journey began in 2018 when a small group of friends were praying and felt a call to develop a space for for the whole body of Christ to gather to worship on a large scale, for an extended period of time. The North of England has a rich history of revival and we desire to see the Lord move in our generation. The vision has been shared through smaller events in key cities across the north ranging from Sheffield to Edinburgh, with representatives from all denominations, demographics and networks present.
This festival is an outward act of obedience in response to the vision, and our hope is people will come away inspired, encouraged, and equipped to join in the call to see the nations transformed in the name of Jesus.
